How Credits Work
Credits are your shared currency across Raya, Adam, and Sara. Learn what each credit buys, how they draw down, and when you get low-balance alerts.
What Are Credits?
Credits are the single currency you use across all three AI teammates. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and you spend those credits whenever Raya resolves support tickets, Adam makes sales calls, or Sara conducts interviews.
Credits are shared — there are no per-teammate buckets. You allocate them however your business needs. All Raya one month, split between Adam and Sara the next. You control the distribution.
Pro Tip
Think of credits like a shared phone plan — one pool, multiple lines. A 10-person support team on the Business plan ($50/mo, 100 credits) gets 1,000 Raya responses, or 300 Adam voice minutes, or 10 Sara interviews — or any mix across all three.
Credit Costs by Teammate
Each AI teammate consumes credits at a different rate. The table below shows exactly what one credit purchase gets you.
| Teammate | Credit Cost | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Raya (Customer Service) | 1 credit | 10 complete support responses |
| Adam (Sales) | 10 credits | 30 voice minutes (calls, qualification, meeting booking) |
| Sara (Hiring) | 10 credits | 1 full interview (20-30 min live video interview with scoring) |
Quick Conversions: What 10 Credits Buy
Ten credits is the smallest paid-plan allowance (Free plan). Here is what 10 credits get you with each AI teammate.
| Teammate | 10 Credits = |
|---|---|
| Raya | 100 support responses |
| Adam | 30 voice minutes |
| Sara | 1 full interview |
Note
You can split credits across teammates however you like. Example: Use 5 credits on Raya (50 responses) and save 5 for Sara. That is not enough for a full interview alone, but credits accumulate month-to-month, so you can bank credits for Sara interviews while Raya handles daily support.
Credit Draw Order
When you have credits from multiple sources, the system draws them in a specific order to make sure the oldest credits are used first and nothing expires unnecessarily.
- 1
Rollover credits first
Any unused credits carried over from a previous billing cycle are consumed first.
- 2
Top-up credits (oldest first)
If you purchased top-up packs, the oldest pack is drawn down before newer ones. Top-ups expire after 90 days.
- 3
Current-month plan credits last
Your fresh monthly allocation is used only after rollover and top-up credits are exhausted.
Low-Balance Alerts
Teammates.ai sends email and in-app notifications when your credit balance is running low. You receive alerts at predetermined thresholds so you have time to top up before your AI teammates pause. Enable auto-top-up to avoid interruptions entirely.
Important
When credits hit zero, your AI teammates pause — Raya's chat widget hides, Adam's campaigns stop, and Sara stops scheduling interviews. In-progress work always completes (no mid-conversation drops), but new interactions are blocked. Enable auto-top-up if uninterrupted service is critical for your business.
