Campaign Types

Adam supports several outbound campaign types. Each type targets a different goal, but all use the same setup flow. Choose the type that matches your objective when creating a new campaign.

Campaign TypeUse CaseExample
Sales OutreachCold or warm calling prospects to qualify interestAdam calls a list of demo request leads and books meetings
Appointment RemindersConfirming upcoming appointments to reduce no-showsAdam calls patients 24 hours before their appointment
Follow-upsRe-contacting leads after an event, demo, or initial callAdam follows up with webinar attendees within 48 hours
Re-engagementReaching out to dormant leads or churned customersAdam calls customers who haven't renewed in 90 days

Setting Up a Campaign

Follow these five steps to create and launch an outbound campaign. Start with a small test batch before activating the full lead list.

  1. 1

    Create the campaign

Go to Sales > Campaigns and click Create Campaign. Give it a name, select the campaign type, and assign the Sales employee (Adam) that will make the calls.

  2. 2

    Upload your lead list

Import leads via CSV, connect your CRM, or set up a webhook. Each lead needs at minimum a phone number and name. Additional fields (company, role, notes) help Adam personalize the conversation.

  3. 3

    Configure the call script

Write the script Adam will follow. Define the greeting, key qualifying questions, objection responses, and desired outcome (book meeting, confirm interest, collect info). Adam adapts the script naturally during the call.

  4. 4

    Set the schedule

Choose calling windows by day and timezone. Set a daily call limit to control pace. Adam respects local time-of-day regulations automatically.

  5. 5

    Launch in test mode first

Enable test mode to run a small sample (5-10 calls). Review transcripts and outcomes. When satisfied, turn off test mode to launch the full campaign.

Retry Rules and Call Outcomes

When a call goes unanswered, Adam can retry the lead based on your retry settings. You can configure up to 3 retry attempts with a custom delay between each (for example, retry after 2 hours, then again after 24 hours). Each retry counts as a separate call for credit purposes. Adam logs every attempt with one of these outcomes: Connected, Voicemail, No Answer, Busy, or Not Interested. Leads marked "Not Interested" are never retried.

Credit Usage for Outbound Campaigns

Adam uses credits based on voice minutes: 10 credits = 30 voice minutes. A typical outbound call runs 3-5 minutes. If a call reaches voicemail, the voicemail message itself does not consume additional credits beyond the initial connection. Only calls that connect to a live person or leave a voicemail draw from your credit balance.

Note:Large campaigns may be rate-limited for telephony compliance. Do-not-call (DNC) list compliance is your responsibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I import leads from my CRM instead of uploading a CSV?
Yes. Adam integrates natively with HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Salesforce. You can also connect other CRMs via Zapier. Once connected, create a campaign and select your CRM as the lead source.
What happens if Adam reaches voicemail on an outbound call?
Adam detects voicemail automatically. Based on your campaign settings, he either leaves a scripted voicemail message or skips and logs the attempt. You can customize the voicemail script per campaign.
How many credits does an outbound call cost?
Adam uses 10 credits for every 30 voice minutes. A typical 3-5 minute outbound call uses roughly 1-2 credits. Voicemail messages do not consume additional credits beyond the call connection.
