Overview
Connect external knowledge sources so your AI teammates can reference company documentation, databases, and files during conversations. These are live data lookups — teammates search and read content in real-time. This is different from the built-in Knowledge Base, which uses pre-indexed file uploads. All knowledge management integrations are extended integrations available through Composio.

Built-in Knowledge Base vs External Knowledge Sources
Teammates.ai offers two ways to give your AI teammates access to company knowledge. The built-in Knowledge Base stores pre-indexed files for fast retrieval. External knowledge sources connect to live services for real-time lookups. Use both together for the best coverage.

Each knowledge source connects through Composio and provides your AI teammates with real-time access to external content. Raya can search your Notion workspace for answers during support conversations. Adam can pull product specs from Google Sheets during sales calls. Here is what each source offers.

Knowledge management integrations are extended integrations not available in the standard toggle UI. To enable a knowledge source connection for your organization, contact support@teammates.ai. Our team will configure the connection, set up the required authentication, and verify access before activating the integration for your AI teammates.
