Bi-Directional Sync
Bi-directional sync means data flows both ways. When you create a job in your ATS, Sara automatically creates a matching interview. When Sara completes an interview and generates a report, the scores and recommendation push back to your ATS as candidate notes or scorecard entries. No manual data entry required.

Configuration Steps
Connect your ATS in a few steps from the Dashboard.

Go to Settings > Integrations
Open the Dashboard and navigate to Settings > Integrations. Find your ATS in the list.

Authenticate with your ATS
Click "Connect" and authenticate using your ATS admin credentials. Sara requests only the permissions needed for job and candidate sync.

Configure sync preferences
Choose which jobs to sync, which pipeline stages trigger interviews, and where Sara pushes reports. You can sync all jobs or select specific ones.

Set up webhooks (optional)
For real-time triggers, configure webhooks in your ATS to notify Sara when candidates reach a specific stage. This is optional for native integrations (they sync automatically) but required for Zapier-based setups.

Test the connection
Click "Test Connection" to verify the sync. Sara pulls a sample job from your ATS to confirm everything works. If the test fails, check your ATS permissions and try again.
Webhook Configuration
Webhooks enable real-time communication between your ATS and Sara. When a candidate reaches a configured stage (for example, "Phone Screen Complete"), your ATS sends a webhook event to Sara, which triggers an interview invitation automatically. Webhooks use HTTPS endpoints with secret-based authentication. Sara retries failed webhook deliveries up to 3 times with exponential backoff.
